From the drawn line on paper to the drawn line that transcends into a physical form, through the process of manipulating and shaping of wire, I create handmade wire drawings that have been brought into the physical material world, reinforcing their linear quality.

The main focus of my work consists of wire hands that are part of a series of hand sequences that convey the notion of touch, through movement and electricity. How, electricity flows through our bodies like lightning, controlling our bodies in ways in which we respond, feel and move. How, when two hands come together to touch, there is electricity that flows through.

Each hand sequence, conveys different ways in which we can come together and give contact, through various hand movements such as a handshake or a punch that are portrayed through different hand positions in said sequence that portrays the notion of movement.
